HEAT IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE


The argument was urged by the current situation of the so-called "architecture Solar , characterized especially by the Italian case, by a certain indifference and lack of style. On the one hand, there are still a number of architects who are shown not sensitive to this issue and then leave the field open to technicians and installers, but the other is even more problematic to determine what would be the quality standards, which must go to meet criteria for judging fairly subjective.
The study represents a path that began with the personal learning of what binds directly to the technology of solar thermal system, leading to later in the testing phase by the simple method of "seeing is believing " made with the analysis of projects and existing cases. The final phase is the design, which examines only a fragment of such a wide subject and seeks to contribute actively in the recovery of the existing.
This technology, which already is an almost predictable component in architectural designs, featuring an innovative approach to the issue of saving energy in the near future will become a real necessity turned to heal the erosion of our way of life sink. It will be more than just a new style: its principles become crucial for all types of construction and will change the face of architecture. The integration of solar thermal system, aesthetically satisfactory, is a challenge and an opportunity for everyone working with the architecture. It has been asked to do so if and to what extent this technology can lead to the identification of new solutions in building construction, and what contribution they can provide these solutions in search of quality within the architectural culture. In

first part of the thesis has developed an in-depth critical appraisal of the regulations is inherent and is subsequently passed to the description of the technology where you place an emphasis on the innovation of vacuum tubes and solar cooling . The latter, more new system and being refined, is aimed at an interesting use of solar thermal energy for summer cooling. In

second part of the thesis, the integration of the technology used, first they started comparing the factors of failure in Italy rather than in favor of other European countries, especially Nordic, otherwise there has been considerable success in the solar thermal technology, thanks to increased government involvement and public acceptance. Later they were collected 41 demonstration projects from across Europe, organized by cards that represent a variety of approaches Architectural integration of solar thermal system. In reality, other factors influence, such as characteristics intrinsic to the climate, culture, historical and economic environment of the place where each building is located under analysis. The collection of such cards will demonstrate how a good integration is not only an aesthetic exercise but a useful gimmick for technical reasons and to reduce economic costs extra. Ognuno di questi edifici affronta il tema del contenimento energetico con un completo approccio bioclimatico, infatti l’integrazione del sistema solare termico risulterebbe del tutto inefficace ove a priori non sia stata svolta una progettazione anche in senso passivo e non limitata esclusivamente al funzionamento dell’edificio ma anche alla fase di costruzione e a fine vita nella fase di riciclaggio.

La fase progettuale propone il recupero energetico-ambientale degli edifici del patrimonio ATC di Torino situati in via Maddalene e in via Pacini.
Il progetto di integrazione del sistema solare deepens the thermal solution for inclusion in a facade (wall or railings), assuming a repeatable and versatile form .
this purpose have been used to support programs: Ecotect for the analysis of shading; Polysan to verify coverage of the meeting of hot water, heating and cooling; SketchUp to render the simulation via integration.
