At the opening address to the "Baroque" celebrations of the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy that offends and demeans the intelligence of all the Sicilians, feel obliged to express our condemnation to such as these tricksters, liars and forgers of history, emphasizing the futility of celebrations that seem pathetic and misleading. I also declare loudly and with all our strength, the STATE ITALY for the infringement of the Sicilian people and of Sicily. We condemn, in fact, the loss of a commitment did not observe the "Pactum" with the Sicilian People in Arms! We demand the right to respect for and full application of the state which is the Magna Carta of our autonomy. We are very sorry for the missed opportunity by the highest offices of state that linger even today before the evidence of the facts that emerge from history, to hide behind a finger when it would be more correct, at least apologize for the misdeeds of the much-vaunted revival. We believe this lack of honesty profoundly unjust institutional accountability which will sooner or later.
